A recent intelligence report has uncovered a syndicate of criminals specializing in armed robbery and car snatching, primarily operating in the Eastern region of Nigeria. The criminals would steal vehicles and transport them to Lagos, where they would sell them.

One of the suspects, identified as Ojo Dolapo, a 22-year-old male, was arrested in the Ikotun area of Lagos. Dolapo was linked to the criminal network after receiving several stolen vehicles through a woman, who remains at large. The stolen vehicles included three Lexus 330s and one 2017 Lexus 350.

During his arrest, Dolapo confessed to his involvement in the crime and subsequently led a team of law enforcement operatives to the location where he sold the stolen vehicles. One of the stolen cars, a silver Lexus 350, was successfully recovered.

Further investigations have resulted in the recovery of another stolen vehicle – a black Lexus 330 – which was found on March 18, 2025, in the Ojodu Berger area. Dolapo is currently assisting the operatives in their efforts to locate and recover the remaining two stolen Lexus vehicles.

Law enforcement agencies are continuing their efforts to apprehend the other members of the criminal syndicate, with plans in place to recover the remaining stolen vehicles.

As the authorities continue their investigation into this criminal syndicate, it’s crucial for the community to remain vigilant. If you have any information related to this case or suspect criminal activities in your area, please report them to the nearest law enforcement agency.
