..Dr Bayero hails level of IcT development in the state
Nigeria’s foremost reporter and key stake holder in ICT journalism , Dr. Bayero Agabi has endorsed Nasarawa state government as the best so far in disseminating ICT.
Speaking during an indepth interview on Thursday at the Digivation future summit held in Lagos, Agabi shared his experience as an ICT veteran in the last 26 years , noting that the Nasarawa state government has been at the forefront in technology advancement.
Dr. Agabi Ascerted that though he does not patronise government, it does not rule out the fact that Nasarawa state has done exceptionally well in building ICT awareness from bottom to the top, bridging the gap and ensuring accessibility and use of technology for good.

As a way of encouraging ICT dissemination in Nigeria, Dr Bayero Agabi initiated the digivation future Summit with an aim to motivate citizens within and outside the ICT sector to converge and deliberate on how to improve ICT awareness as well as honour notable government personnel’s and private individuals who have contributed to the growth and development of ICT in the country and Africa at large.
. Awardees at the Summit The pan African hybrid Summit which was well attended by key stakeholders in government , ICT , Entertainment and other sectors, within and outside Nigeria, promises to be one major event that will help shape the growth of ICT in Nigeria and beyond.
He ended by encouraging state governments to ensure that they strive to empower the people with the knowledge and skills in the unfolding digital reality known as the future economy.
