In a unanimous agreement, members of the Association of Voice Over Artists (AVOA), Nigeria, has re-elected renowned actor and voice-over artist Segun Arinze as their President for another term on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
This overwhelming endorsement is a testament to Arinze’s exceptional leadership qualities and his vision for the association.
Since assuming office, Arinze has led AVOA to achieve significant milestones, including gaining international recognition and expanding its membership globally.
His leadership has been marked by a commitment to empowering members through various initiatives
In his acceptance speech, Arinze expressed gratitude to the members for their trust and confidence in him, saying, “Great AVOAITES!! I want to thank every member of our great Association for the confidence reposed in us by re-electing us for another term.” He outlined his goals for the next four years, promising to take AVOA to greater heights and achieve key milestones.
Arinze’s agenda includes helping older members consolidate their experience and expertise while creating opportunities for younger members to learn, gain experience, and reach their full potential. “We shall be sharing our blueprint for AVOA in the coming days,” he announced. “I appeal that there should be no more sitting on the fence while the world keeps evolving. The challenges ahead are enormous but surmountable. We need each other to get to our destination. Together we shall succeed.”
During his previous tenure, Arinze worked tirelessly to empower AVOA members by launching training programs like AVOA VOICE FEST and financial upgrades.. He also advocated for equal rights, particularly in issues related to the ban on foreign voices.
With his re-election, Segun Arinze is expected to build on his achievements and take AVOA to the next level. The association’s growing global presence and increasing membership are expected to continue under his leadership.
