NDLEA: NO PAYMENT REQUIRED FOR DRUG INTEGRITY TEST BY NEW RECRUITS OF INTERIOR MINISTRY AGENCIES The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced that candidates undergoing recruitment into four agencies under the Ministry of Interior will not be required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT). The affected agencies are the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). In a statement issued on Friday, October 30, 2026, the agency said the Ministry of Interior had already made bulk payment to cover the drug testing of all new recruits. Consequently, candidates have been warned against making payments to NDLEA officials, designated testing centres or through any other payment channel for the exercise. The agency explained that candidates would be required to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal through designated links or access points provided on their respective institutional portals. Through the platform, applicants are expected to complete their registration and necessary documentation before proceeding with the test. The NDLEA urged candidates and participating agencies to comply with the guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent testing process. The statement was signed by Femi Babafemi, Director of Media and Advocacy, NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja.
