Police Arrest Two Siblings for Alleged Conspiracy and Armed Robbery

Lagos State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery case involving the theft of three iPhones and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) valued at approximately ₦15 million. The case, which was initially reported at Okota Police Station, was transferred to a specialized investigative unit on February 17, 2025, for further inquiry.

According to police reports, the complainant alleged that his girlfriend, Emmanuella Ogochukwu, 25, conspired with her younger brother and his associates to rob him. Following the confessional statement of the suspect, police operatives trailed and apprehended her 22-year-old brother, Ogbuka Tochukwu. Both suspects reportedly admitted to their involvement in the crime.

During the operation, security operatives recovered the stolen phones and a sum of ₦6.5 million, which have since been registered as exhibits. Efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the gang who are still at large.

The police assured that investigations are continuing, and further updates on the case will be provided in due course.
