A tragic incident occurred in the Lekki area of Lagos state where a young lady named Cynthia Oguzie Chizoba is reported to have died after a geepee tank fell inside her room.
After the agonising incident took place at Lekki area in Lagos state, a relative of the victim expressed their grief and frustration on Facebook, sharing details of what transpired.
According to a post by Thandubani on Monday 7th of April, 2025, Cynthia’s life was cut short when a water tank fell into her room. The relative, Chukwuebuka Nathaniel Kanayochukwu, blamed the building’s construction and the landlord’s negligence for the tragic event.
In the post, Chukwuebuka expressed outrage and sadness, stating that the landlord claimed to be abroad, relying on an engineer to oversee the construction of the buildings. He wrote, ” Beware of Lekki building and their water stand, this is how they send my sister to her early grave. Thank you so called landlord and your engineer for doing this type of water stand.”
Meanwhile, the relative is now seeking justice and warning others about the potential dangers of the building and its water storage system. Cynthia Chizoba Oguzie is remembered by her loved ones, with her relative paying tribute to her memory.
