In a significant operation, patrol officers of the Isheri Oshun Division in Lagos have successfully apprehended two individuals, Jemilu Abdullahi and Samsondeen Isiaku, on Tuesday May 6, 2025.
It was reported that the culprits were caught red-handed vandalizing streetlight cables at Ijegun/Jakande Road.
However, the swift action by the officers has put an end to the suspects’ illicit activities, which not only pose a threat to public safety but also result in significant financial losses for the authorities.
The arrested individuals are currently undergoing investigation, and once the probe is concluded, they will face charges in court for their alleged crimes.
The Police efforts to curb vandalism and maintain public infrastructure are commendable, and this arrest serves as a deterrent to others who might be involved in such crime.
