In a dramatic turn out of events, Master Ovie Kehinde, the seven-year-old boy declared missing by the Lagos State Police on June 9, 2025, has been found alive and in good health.
According to sources within the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), the young boy was discovered in Bariga, a suburb of Lagos, yesterday. Details of the rescue are still emerging but detectives from the SCID confirmed that Ovie Kehinde was located after an intensive investigation and search operation.
It was disclosed that the child was handed over to his relieved mother in the presence of officials, bringing an end to the agonizing wait for his family and the community.
