Pumoh Exclusive Online Services has concluded a partnership engagement with Eclipse Mobiles, making the company the exclusive distributor of the UK produced range of feature, smart phones, smart tablets and smart watches in Nigeria and the African markets.
Speaking at the unveiling of the products in Lagos, the Managing Director, Pumoh Exclusive Online Services Barr. Mrs. Umoh Adingwupu said that the new range of devices will revolutionise the mobile technology market as they parade value-packed features that will see users enjoy seamless experience from personal entertainment to business functionality.
The MD who was represented by Mrs. Ijeoma Sabo noted that although the market is currently flooded with all kinds of products, she expressed confidence that the eclipse range of phones and tablets will stand out because they come with extra value for the user and the production as well as product testing, have passed through thorough quality control processes to ensure that users enjoy great aesthetics, high level functionality, super durability and portability.
According to her, “in a world where things are moving at supersonic speed with creativity throwing up interesting innovations, people need smart mobile technology that can simplify their day-to-day activities and make their lives easier even while increasing their productivity”.
Some of the Eclipse range of devices include: the eclipse Tab 7 and 9, Eclipse Ice 2 and Dlite P5. Whole top on the list is the Combo 3 feature phone that can browse the internet and social media and also serves as a power bank to charge other phones.
Certifying the Eclipse range of products fit for the Nigeria?market, the Director Technical Standard and Network Integrity, Nigerian Communications Commission, Engr Fidelis Onah said that the products have gone through the necessary NCC checks and type approval. He added that the commission does not encourage or tolerate the sale of non-type approved mobile devices in the Nigerian market which is why the NCC has a unit that specifically deals with issues of non-type approved devices which also sometimes hamper quality of Service. He however enjoined consumers to ask for NCC certificate of authorisation from any company they want to purchase their devices to be sure that they’re type approved.
“When we find anyone non-compliant we usually sanction them,” he said.
