Her royal majesty, Queen Elizabeth has died at the age of 96 . In a statement today, Buckingham Palace said: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
“The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Prince Charles now becomes the new king and has chosen to be called King Charles the third.
