President Tinubu’s Paris Visit: Mid-Term Review & Economic Reforms

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed for Paris, France today Wednesday 3rd of April 2025 for a working visit during which he will appraise his administration’s mid – term performance and as well assess key milestones.

According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy). Bayo Onanuga, the President will use the retreat to review the progress of ongoing reforms and engage in strategic planning ahead of his administration’s second anniversary.

It was stated that this period of reflection will inform plans to deepen reforms and accelerate national development priorities in the coming year.

Recent economic gains, including a significant increase in net foreign exchange reserves to $23.11 billion, demonstrate the administration’s commitment to fiscal reforms. It was disclosed that the Central Bank of Nigeria reported this surge, up from $3.99 billion in 2023.

Meanwhile, despite his time abroad, President Tinubu will remain engaged with his team and oversee governance activities. He is expected to return to Nigeria in about two weeks.
