A storey building under construction has reportedly collapsed at Oba Idowu Oniru Street, beside Avi Maria Hospital, Lagos.
Following the collapse on Sunday morning, six people are trapped under the debris of the uncompleted building.
The Director, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr. Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, has confirmed the incident in a statement.
The statement said: “Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, an uncompleted 7 storey building undergoing construction was found to have collapsed.
No injury sustained however about six people are reported to be trapped under the rubbles of the collapsed structure, as reported by eagleonline.
“The Agency’s heavy duty equipment excavator will be required for the rescue of the trapped victims. We have activated Lagos State Response plan.
