SystemSpecs Launches 2025 Children’s Day Essay Competition!

Exciting news for young minds across Nigeria! SystemSpecs has officially opened entries for the 2025 edition of its Children’s Day Essay Competition (CDEC), inviting students aged 9–16 to showcase their creativity and tech-savvy ideas.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 edition of the SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competition (CDEC). The submission portal will open on February 7, 2025. This year’s competition promises to be very impactful!

Essay Topic: “How I would use Technology to mobilise my peers for a greater Nigeria.”

Participants are to explore how they can transform peer influence into a force for social good by leveraging technology to inspire, motivate, and empower others.

The CDEC is an excellent opportunity for your child or ward to further develop their technology awareness and share innovative ideas. Participants will not only be exposed to the limitless world of technology but also stand a chance to win incredible rewards.

Categories:
Junior (9 – 12 years): 1,000 words (maximum)
Senior (13 – 16 years): 1,500 words (maximum)
Portal Opens: February 7 – April 11, 2025

This CDEC is an integral part of SystemSpecs’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, which focuses on developing indigenous technology capacity for national prosperity. Over the past 5 editions, the CDEC has attracted participation from children in private and public schools across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
