The 6th Edition of the Business Summit, Fair, and Award (BSFAA) recently took place on October 16, 2025, at the Radisson Blu hotel in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. This impactful gathering brought together Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs (SMEs) from diverse industries, solidifying its six-year legacy of captivating intellectuals, stakeholders, tech professionals, media, and the physically challenged.
During her welcome address, convener and CEO of Beady’s Word Production, Beady Nnana, highlighted that the Nigerian business spirit remains resilient despite economic uncertainties. She emphasized that embracing digital transformation, leveraging local resources, and purposeful collaboration can help businesses not just survive but thrive.
In a keynote address themed “THRIVING BEYOND ECONOMIC INSTABILITY “, the keynote speaker. Mr. Seye Olurotimi, a renowned business leader and founder of MSME Africa, noted that Nigeria’s 40 million Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) contribute 50% to the country’s GDP and account for 80% of employment.
According to him, “without small SME’s, no economy can grow. He advised entrepreneurs to adopt an opportunity mindset, leveraging instability as a catalyst for creativity and innovation.
Empowering Nigeria’s Entrepreneurs Through Innovation and Recognition
Honourable Olugbenga Abdullah I, representative of Senator Anthony Adefuye. A distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, emphasized the importance of empowering entrepreneurs, stating that if every Nigerian household had one entrepreneur employing two to three people, unemployment would be eradicated, and Nigeria would be a global economic powerhouse.
He also cautioned SMEs against taking loans with interest rates above 9% and urged the government to create opportunities for them to thrive.
The summit featured a panel session, AI Advertising training delivered by Mr. Kingsley Ife. Engineer, Business Developer and AI content trainer.
Additionally, an exhibition tour took place and Nine exemplary individuals received awards for their remarkable impact in business, including Louisa Olaniyi Business Network (LOBN), Senior Reporter. Evelyn Ogbene Akpa and Business Mogul Chief CFC Obi.
