Reacting to the recognition, Mr. Paul Mba, Head, Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics Nigeria, stated that the award is a reflection of the extreme confidence Nigerians have in the brand.

“Being recognised as the Most Trusted Electronic Brand is a meaningful reflection of the confidence consumers place in LG. For us, trust is built every day through innovation that genuinely improves lives, quality products and a commitment to delivering experiences that put consumers first. We are grateful to Nigerian consumers for this recognition, and it further inspires us to continue creating solutions that make Life’s Good,” Mba said.

Also speaking at the event, the Convener of the Consumer Value Awards, Akonte Ekine, said the initiative was founded on the conviction that consumers deserve a stronger voice in the marketplace.

He noted that the category won by LG Electronics was one of many across different sectors, with the entire awards framework anchored on three pillars: Consumer Voice, Consumer Choice and Consumer Value.

Ekine stressed that CVA was not conceived merely as an awards ceremony, but specifically as a dynamic consumer engagement platform designed to compel brands, institutions and government agencies to listen more attentively to the people they serve.

“We believe that consumers and citizens are the paymasters. And paymasters deserve a better experience,” he stated.

The Lagos recognition comes on the heels of LG Electronics’ recent global milestone clinching the Best Brand of IFA 2026 at the prestigious IFA Innovation Awards.

By earning that distinction at the well-established global technology awards programme, LG has further proven its reputation as a world leader in innovation, setting new benchmarks in technology, design and market impact.
