Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, joined senior Nigerian and United States officials, business leaders and policy experts at the “Nigeria’s Moment: A Transatlantic Strategic Partnership Dialogue” in Lagos on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

The dialogue was organised by the American Business Council Nigeria in collaboration with the Heritage Foundation and held at The Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi.

Among those who attended were former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Henry Odein Ajumogobia, SAN; former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; President and CEO of the US Export-Import Bank, Kimberly Reed; Group Managing Director of Prime Atlantic, Ayo Otuyalo; Senior Counselor to the US President for International Engagement and E.W. Richardson Fellow, James Jay Carafano; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole; Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe; and former Chief of Defence Staff, Rtd. The gathering focused on opportunities to strengthen economic, trade, investment and strategic relations between Nigeria and the United States.
