Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has decorated 80 newly promoted officers serving within the Command.

This was disclosed on Tuesday in a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer. SP Abimbola Adebisi.
The officers were promoted from Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police II (ASP II) in recognition of their dedication, hard work, and professionalism.
In his address, CP Jimoh emphasized the importance of discipline, respect for human rights, and community-oriented policing, urging the officers to view their promotion as a call to greater responsibility and renewed commitment.
It was further reported that the CP also expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, and the Police Service Commission for their support in motivating officers through timely promotions

The promotion is expected to boost morale and enhance police service delivery in Lagos State. CP Jimoh assured that the newly promoted officers would be deployed to key operational and administrative units to strengthen policing outcomes.
